Internet home delivery branch of Netherlands' largest supermaket chain. Currently called Albert.nl

  • June 1999 to October 2000 (project commisioned by the Localizers)
    The Albert Heijn Home Shopping System formerly called Albert Heijn Thuisservice.
    Translation and documentation of the entire back-office system that makes the AH Thuisservice site and service possible. The Oracle 8i back-office system was originally developed in Dutch. The translation of the database and the interfaces was necessary to make this system usable for the United States. Unfortunately it is not possible to show any of the documentation or the actual work that was done in the Oracle database. However, by visiting their site, you can gain an idea about the scope of the project. The entire localization project took one year.
